[October 26, 2023] Anyone reading my blog knows that I firmly stand against Hamas terrorism (see articles here, here, here, and here) and fully support Israel to defend itself in this latest war. What I saw these past two weeks, coming from the cameras operated by Hamas terrorists, was unspeakable. To put this into perspective, I was a Soldier for 40 years, three years deployed to the Middle East in combat. There, I saw the result of horrific atrocities committed by Shia and Sunni Muslim terrorists.
But what I saw from Hamas was far worse. It goes beyond the human imagination and is worse than Stalin, Hitler, and Mao, except that they killed over 100 million innocents. If the Hamas leadership had their way, this number would be nothing; they want every Jew dead, regardless of where they live. We are seeing revolting horror, unthinkable horror, Evil incarnate. The human mind does not have a way of processing these atrocities.
The American military learned something important in Afghanistan and Iraq. And that to remove this kind of terrorist ideology, underlined by radical Islamists, required killing everyone who was part of or supported it. America simply did not have the will to do so. And the Western world did not have the will to do so. So, instead, we retreated back to civilization.
To contemplate such a total solution is troublesome because civilized people are incapable of resorting to such brutality.
I wrote earlier that the only way to stop Hamas in the future is to destroy the Palestinian Culture of Terrorism. That means a brutal destruction of Hamas to the man. They must all die. In addition, the Palestinians must suffer the extremes of deprivation, destruction, disease, and death over a long period to convince them their culture is irretractable and deeply flawed. We did this in Japan and Germany after World War II. It worked, but even then, not without great difficulty.
This solution will not happen, of course. U.S. President Joe Biden has already made that abundantly clear. While he claims to support Israel, his pivoting to provide humanitarian aid, water, and power to southern Gaza is wrong. This quisling action shows Hamas that America is weak and they will find an escape via this U.S. president. The West is at war, and we don’t yet have the capability to realize it.
If Americans go the way Biden hopes for, there will be many more deaths from Hamas in Israel and America and the world, all in the very near future, that we know for sure.

Plus there are other nations that must also be brought into the fight and destroyed. That includes Iran at the top of the list as well as Russia, China, NK and Venezuela. Once they are destroyed and the people suffer, then and only then can the world learn to live in peace (at least the best it can get from it).

Danny, i appreciate the comment but as Gen. Satterfield has clearly stated, this will not be the solution until something drastic happens and the terrorists are using the “frog in boiling water” solution. They know that if they do something too far (like maybe this case), then things will go terribly wrong for them. The West is very slow picking up on the fact that they are the frog and the water is getting hot.
We’ll never learn until a nuke is exploded over NYC.
Sad but true. And then, we will be reluctant to act decisively becuase we don’t even know what thayt means anymore.
Only by having Trump in charge could we have avoided this.
