A Communist Paradise: Cuba

By | October 21, 2024

[October 21, 2024]  Cuba is a Communist paradise as the end is always the same: no electricity, no food, no running water, and no medicine. The national power grid, always problematic, began failing this past Thursdaybegan failing this past Thursday and collapsing entirely the next day.

Among the poorest nations in the world is Cuba. And now the end of that government is near. Now they have mass blackouts.

“The government said it ordered a state of emergency and halted “all non-vital services that generate energy costs.” It suspended weekend classes at schools and universities and cultural activities. It also ordered the closure of bars and nightclubs and nonessential workplaces. Hospitals and food processing centers were permitted to operate while most state workers were sent home.”

The situation in Cuba has been bad for a long time. And the fact that the Communist government seems to have no solution.

“The government urged residents and state-run businesses “to prepare quick, light and soupy meals” as a lack of hard-currency has also hobbled the government’s ability to import cooking gas for households. “It’s essential to take extreme power saving measures,” said Cuba’s official Communist Party daily Granma, urging the population to implement a ‘general unplugging.’”

And now we see what is inevitable as the last chapter of Communism: extreme poverty and a destructive influence on the culture. Any federal leadership that is still active is frozen in a state of paralysis.

“The Cuban Human Rights Observatory, a Spain-based advocacy group, says the measures are a tacit admission of a failure in the management of the country.”

Now a Category 1 hurricane just made landfall last night. While hurricane Oscar is not as powerful as other recent ones hitting the southeastU.S., it still packs an unwelcome punch in the gut. But the Cuban government has not run out of the one commodity that keeps them in power: bullets.

“ But the Cuban government has not run out of the one commodity that keeps them in power: bullets.” — Gen. Doug Satterfield. Nuff said. We know how Cuba is going to handle this.

Thank you, Gen. Satterfield. I’m new to your website and have been enjoying your articles daily. After stumbling across it, I also started reading the mini-series “letters to my granddaughter “ as it was giving me the inspiration to write for my future kids and grandkids too. Well, besides, I also get another look and another educated-experienced viewpoint that makes sense. If only others could read your blog. Anyway, my fiancé is also a new fan as well. I have the links to your books and I’ll be ordering them from Amazon today. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

And to think Kamala Harris wants to chart “a new path forward” by emulating the economic practices of impoverished communist Cuba. Capitalist America is the most successful nation ever born because it relies on rugged individualism not on government paternalism.

Interesting article. Let’s not overlook the “bullet” comment. One thing communists always have in full supply are guns and bullets. They are always ready to put down any insurrection or protest against them. That is a feature of communism anywhere it’s been tried. This is why, IMHO, that Gen. Satterfield days these regimes are evil to their core. Thank you sir for reminding us of the utter failure of this ideology, an ideology that is still attractive to the weak minded.

Cuba is done for. They might as well give up, call Donald Trump and ask to be saved.

Nothing better than poverty to convince a person with a brain that communism does not work.

—— the problem we have today is Universities has the largest collection of stupid folks in the West. There must be some critical point at which stupidity becomes a self-perpetuating entity that implants itself permanently in the institution. We see this especially as pro-Hamas students rally on campuses. I’m just happy I don’t pay my kids tuition money any more. I’d hate to see my hard-earned cash go toward the mindless brain virus so common today on these universities. 💯

Yeah, this is the end result of communism. The elites live in luxury and all the rest live in total poverty. That’s the way it always ends. And yet college campuses are full of those who love communism. As part of their schooling, college students should be required to live in Havana, Cuba.
