A Sign of Moral Courage: Eden Golan

[May 3, 2024] You probably never heard of her, nor would you ever have heard of her, except for her moral courage to represent Israel in the annual Eurovision music contest.  According to those who follow Eurovision, this contest has become highly competitive and is a huge cultural event.  I gave credit where it is due.  Eden Golan has shown us a sign of moral courage to follow.

The music event starts Tuesday in Malmo, Sweden.  Countries provide only one singer or group of singers.  But, as expected in the times of Western governments failing to take control of pro-Hamas terror in their streets, the contest will be marred by radical leftists.

“Israel’s representative in the Eurovision Song Contest has been told not to leave her hotel room other than for performances because of an expected wave of pro-Palestinian protests.” – London Times

The Swedes are not stupid like so many Western nations.  They are ready for protests and violence.

“Swedish police have asked for reinforcements from Denmark and Norway and will be more heavily armed than usual for the world’s biggest pop competition, which, according to the Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan, is overshadowed by ‘Jew-hatred, riots and terror.’” – London Times

From across most of Europe, caravans of people will be coming to Sweden to join in protests against Israel’s “prosecution of its war against Hamas.”  This upcoming confrontation is the beginning of a showdown between a law-and-order state and a lawless mob (that believes in their moral righteousness and superiority).

The opposition to Eden Golan also comes from Swedish artists who have called for Israel to be banned from the competition.  We can assume, and I think correctly, that most “artists” are hyper-leftists, so this comes as no surprise.

You can see her on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/lJYn09tuPw4?t=85

Will this be the epic showdown that the world needs right now to show its disdain for pro-terrorism?  Or will Sweden’s government be the new Neville Chamberlain declaring “peace for our time” in a show of great appeasement?

Lovely lady, I wish Eden Golan all the luck in the world, as she lives among anti-Semites.

Empty chairs representing the Israeli hostages held in Gaza lit up the stage of Israel’s “Rising Star” song competition show Tuesday night as 20-year-old Eden Golan, wearing a yellow ribbon pin, sang Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” — an emotional grand finale for the country’s auditions to the Eurovision Song Contest, which were postponed by several months due to the war.

It is sad that the world has come to this, when so many advances have been made over the past 100 years to bring peoples out of poverty and push so many diseases back. And how they look to find made-up problems like anti-Semitism and have been so ingrained into them that they must take out their hatred on others different from them.

You are right, and also I blame our leaders like US Pres Joe Biden for pandering to the anti-Semites.

Thankyou, Gen. Satterfield for highlighting Eden Golan, a talented young lady who future will be marred by the anti-Semitism the world is convulsing over today, thanks to the EVIL that our politicians refuse to address.

On winning, Eden said: ‘This year, more than ever, I am excited to represent my country on the biggest stage in Europe. I promise to do my best and bring the 2025 Eurovision contest to Israel.’ Eden Golan is 20 years old and comes from Tel Aviv. She started performing on stage from childhood as an artistic dancer, but at the age of 9 she discovered that she could also sing and the rest is history. The singer draws her musical inspiration from diverse styles, and her real dream is to sing with Beyoncé, but first she’s off to Malmö.

Yes she is beautiful and talented and I’m sure she has much going for her or she would never have made it to this point. But because there are so many anti-Semites in Europe and it is deeply embedded, she will not win the contest. That is a shame that she will not be given an equal playing field but that the thumb of injustice and prejudice will be put on the scale of pro-Hamas supporter nations’ singers.

Right, if you want to see how that plays out, then read Gen. Doug Satterfield’s book “55 Rules for a Good Life.” In his book he talks not just how to live a good life but how to overcome obstacles in life. But it is ultimately up to you.
