[August 12, 2023] Wow, my phone has been ringing off the hook. The wild and crazy things going on over the past day or so make it hard to dig into the details, so I am putting out one of my ‘clearing the spindle’ articles. Initially, I would write about lessons from the Hawaii wildfires that killed at least 55 people (as of this writing), with 1,000 missing. Sometimes things move faster, so I will summarize and work on the details later. It’s a bumpy ride, so sit back. This is world-class crazy. I have three good stories on Clearing the Spindle: a World Gone Crazy.
Wildfires tear through Maui, killing many, but more are feared lost: The fire began on Tuesday, spreading quickly and ferociously. High winds and dry conditions made things worse for residents as they tried to evacuate into the ocean. The death toll is undoubtedly going to increase. And much of the area lacks power and phone service, limiting rescuers’ efforts. As devastating new images and videos of the fire’s immediate aftermath continue to emerge, the families of those still unaccounted for are pleading for help. Pray for those lost souls.
U.K. Teenage Autistic Girl Arrested for saying police officer looks like her “lesbian nana”: The blowback on this in Britain will be massive. Maybe the word “blowback” is a bit too weak. West Yorkshire Police are facing an avalanche of criticism after millions viewed video footage of seven officers taking away the 16-year-old screaming girl. Allegedly (don’t you love that word), the girl remarked, comparing a female officer to her “nana,” a lesbian. “While that ongoing process and the active criminal investigation limit our ability to discuss the incident in detail fully, we feel it is important for people to have some context about the circumstances.” Let me put that into context. “We screwed up royally and hope the heat will go away.” There’s going to be payback, and the West Yorkshire Police are going to take it in the shorts. Look at the smug photo of the copper who made the complaint has gone viral and stirred up even more hatred of the police.

$20 million and counting: Brides for the Biden Crime Family. According to Scott Johnson of PowerLineBlog, the U.S. House Oversight Committee has released a third President Joe Biden bank memo “detailing new information … into the Biden’s family influence-peddling schemes.” Apparently, Democrats have turned off their television sets because they say this is just Republican propaganda. The committee has now identified over $20 million in payments from foreign sources to the Biden family and their business associates. That’s $20 million and counting. Maybe someday, the Department of Justice will decide that American history’s most significant corruption case deserves consideration.

BONUS: Anthony Fauci, Mr. Science, is being accused of funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Laboratory where COVID-19 “escaped” and lying about it.

Please read my books:
Great job my friend
Thank you, Eddie. Good to have you on this morning.
Love your clearing the spindle articles because we can get to more than one. Oh, the one you have here about the UK police arresting the autistic girl has gone VIRAL. Good job pointing it out to us.
Gen. Satterfield, love your website.
We all do.
Ouch, the Biden Crime Family. What a joke this man has made of the US presidency. What I’m most shocked about it, is that so many millions of people don’t believe it, in the face of overwhelming evidence. American has a two-tier justice system. So sad. So third world.
Yes, and even without this scandal by Joe Biden and his crime family, what he has done to politicize the DOJ, FBI, CIA, and other major institutions, turning them into the political arm of the Democrat Party raises serious questions about the character of our leaders and the complete lack of character by Joe Biden. There is a great danger in America right now and the only solution is to get Joe Biden out and put in a trustworthy leader.
What a wonderful world.
Gen. Satterfield, this series of ‘clearing the spindle’ is a wonderful addition to your blog and please consider adding it as a regular feature. You can always add this as another ‘page’ to your website and draw people to it. There is value in it. 😉
I don’t think Gen. Satterfield will be doing so.
Homerun ……………..

Great article, thanks Gen. Satterfield. Long time reader and fan of your blog.
I’d like to read what Gen. Satterfield has to say on this incident with the UK police in West Yorkshire. Social media is exploding with comments. Most of them are spot on.
RED, great to hear from you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks. I’ve been waiting for your Clearing the Spindle for a few weeks and I am not disappointed. I understand there are times when you are overwhelmed by the behavior of lazy idiots and leaders, and need more space. Your Clearing the Spindle does the trick. Thanks, Gen. Satterfield.
Oh, I highly recommended your book, “55 Rules for a Good Life” to a bunch of my friends down at the gun range.
Good to recommend Gen. Satterfield’s book, “55 rules for a good life.” If you read it, you will be impressed at the usefulness of these rules in your life. It is hard not to disagree.
Well said, Gunther. In the past, I asked Gen. Satterfield to have one of these each day, like on a separate tab. Too much work , ha ha ha. But sadly, Gen. S. said no. Okay with me. Still love this leadership site.
No surprsie here. Get a copy of the book TODAY, you will be happy for that decision.
