Happy Father’s Day … or Dad’s Day

By | June 18, 2023

[June 18, 2023]  Happy Father’s Day to all those who make a difference to their children.  Here, I deviate from the commercial, modernist Father’s Day idea.  We should not celebrate Fathers … well, in the strict sense of the word.  We should be celebrating Dads.  Dads are those who raise their children.

To be a father is easy.  To be a Dad is hard.  To be a father of a child or many children only means sex, nothing else.  To be a dad means bringing those children up properly and teaching them how to get along with others, tell the truth, have good friends, learn to speak well, read, and stay out of trouble with the law.  Being a good dad means treating the mother with respect and trusting her.

Being a dad is a position our society seems to have devalued over the past few decades, and I don’t see much improvement.  Actually, I see the position of Dad being derided by many, especially those with the Progressive, liberal politically mesmerized.  We encourage fathers to walk away from the mothers of their children.  And we are reaping the consequences of that behavior.

Increased single motherhood, crime, violence, perversion, and willful stupidity are not a plus.  Fathers are seen as nobodies.  They are just a part of a system that pulls women down, or so we are told.  That is why we need a Dad’s Day.  We need a movement of fathers who are consciously willing to raise their kids to adulthood and be there for them, no matter what.

So, Happy Father’s Day … no, Happy Dad’s Day.

    General Douglas Sattefield ,
Excellent job on your prospective of father’s. There is a difference between father’s and dad which you stated.

And going on a short trip to see other family members. Remember that Dad’s Day is all about the family.

Cook a steak. At least give you dad a call. Oh, I like what Gen. S. says about DADS as opposed to FATHERS. Like the black community is almost totally devoid of dads and it shows over and over again in crime stats.

Right, Liz. I would talk about it for hours but there is no time here. Just remember that kids need a dad, not just a father. Just ask any single mother who will tell you the truth. No dad means bad things for the kids and the mother.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the good dads out there ……. and there are many of them, even if not appreciated by the whacko liberals, hollywood (small h) types that have infiltrated our institutions and are destroying them.
