[February 4, 2024] The war of ideas is ON. Dr. Jordan Peterson, psychologist and bestselling author, just lost the appeal that ordered him to undergo “remedial social media training” because of what he believes. His “debauchery” was for tweeting his opinions, something Canada’s College of Psychologists of Ontario did not like.

Readers of www.theleadermaker.com know that Dr. Peterson is one of those thinkers where many of my ideas are shaped and sharpened to help people be better and more resilient while pursuing the truth and responsibility. I’ve been following his “trial” by this board because he has relentlessly been attacked for his actions to encourage men and women to pursue a good life.

He has said that a post-modern, neo-Marxist ideology destroys much of the valuable ideas of Western civilization. And that destruction has seriously problematic consequences. Peterson believes that this secular wokeism is toxic and destroys what it touches. For example, Canada just passed a law called C-4 that prevents Canadian citizens from quoting Bible verses about marriage and sexuality.

Dr. Peterson is a great thinker and we need more men like him. He is being attacked because he is a free thinker that tells us we should adopt responsibility and tell the truth. The government of Canada (and soon the USA) don’t like that … they want you to be beholden to the government only because that means more control for them.
It’s says alot of freedom. Freedom comes with a price
A price to dare to stand up for what’s right. Freedom does mean that you can used its to create issues that harm people. We as Americans are so blessed to express views however keep it respectful and focus.

Satterfield to be very enlightening and I can tell that both of you are good Christians and are the kind of folks that are willing to stand up for those who are also good and righteous. Just like Jordan Peterson who is being attacked because he speaks his mind and is also a believer.

Dr. Peterson is being attacked because he believes that we are each responsible for ourselves and also responsible for our families. That means we have to work to be better … much like what Gen. Satterfield also says. Yet, Dr. JP is being ridiculed for it by those that insist that it is the job of the experts in government to do this for us. Obviously, we know better. The radical leftists want us to be dependent upon the government. That is just another form of tyranny. As a mother of 5 boys, I stand with Dr. Peterson on this one and so do my boys.

Great summary, Lady Hawk. I think that those who read Gen. Satterfield’s blog are free thinkers and we are okay with disagreeing with one another but are respectful and are willing to put up our ideas with realistic arguments to support those ideas. 😎
