The only regret that I have about the military is that I was not selected for an officer’s commission. Despite my superior academic record and my membership in high intelligence organizations I was not selected to go to an officer training program. Had I been allowed to get a commission, I intended to make at least a 20 year career in the Georgia Air National Guard. I left the military with the rank of Staff Sergeant. I have nothing but contempt for the people who failed to see my potential and who held me back while they let the lesser qualified go forward.
I’m late posting but I would like to add that I would like more of EMKIII.
I too am a HUGE FAN of Mr. K. Thanks for all you do for us.
I’m one of the many fans of Mr. Kennedy. I hope he writes more. I’m both entertained and educated with his writings.
Another excellent post. Thanks, Edward.
Thank you all for the wonderful comments and those readers who have taken their time to read my post today.
Good to see you on today Edward. Sorry about the mess my website did to your post today. Best of luck.
A pleasure to always click on Gen. Satterfield’s website on leadership and see guest bloggers like Edward. I thoroughly enjoyed it today.
Mr. Kennedy, thank you for your service and for helping us be reminded of the honorable service by so many who served there.
Many served from many countries. Australia provided many young men who also never returned. Thanks EMKIII.
Spot on with that comment.
It was the West against Communism. Communism is attractive to the elites but nobody else wants it.
Thanks Mr. K for your very straightforward, honest writings. It’s a breath of fresh air.
Odd that your web system won’t allow Mr. Kennedy’s blog posting to show up formatted correctly. Anyway, I think he is one of the better guests you have on.
I like your article that clearly points out the behavior of communists and other ilk like them. In most of the Western world, we have communist-light young people who think it’s cool to be a “progressive” or socialist. The end result is always control over others and the destruction of many institutions like religion and the family. Those people never seem to get the message.
Keep up your great work Mr. Kennedy. We love your articles.
Below, Andrew said it well when he wrote that you “twist the knife” into the PC crowd very well. I agree that too many people today are brainwashed and have such a hard time thinking for themselves. Great article.
So true!
Darryl, you and many here have gone straight to the point now and in the past about how PC is destroying the minds of many. It will take years for them to recover for what they allowed to happen.
A big fan of Mr. K and all Vietnam Vets like him. We need more like him.
Truly an educated man, Edward, from the school of hard knocks.
Good article. Thank you Mr. Kennedy.
Shining light on the communist VC and communism in general is always a good thing. That is why it is such a nasty system that is built to control people’s lives.
Truly a good article today Edward. I like the way you twist the knife into the Political Correct crowd. 🙂
I too am a fan of Mr. Kennedy. As usual, he picks up on what war is about and how socialism and communism are failed ideologies that only make things worse.
Hi, kinda weird that Mr. Kennedy’s post was messed up. I am a fan of his. He is so un-PC and that is why I like his articles. The fact that he is a Vietnam War vet makes it all the more reason I like what he writes. He is a man’s man and I suspect a tough guy in every sense of the word. Thanks for having him on as a guest writer.
