Profile: Vice President Mike Pence

By | October 18, 2020

[October 18, 2020]  Mike Pence is a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican who is currently running with President Donald Trump to be reelected for another four years.  I’m profiling VP Pence because the Vice President position is getting more attention this election cycle.  Here in my blog, I have a simple goal to stand against political correctness and empty words.  I think you will agree that my profile of Mike Pence is bluntly accurate.

Mike Pence was not an easy choice to run with Donald Trump.  While Trump is boisterous, unconventional, and tough, we find Pence’s personality to be more calming and humble.  Pence has been a lawyer, radio and television talk show host, and served several positions in the Indiana state legislature, including as the state’s governor.  The latter position and his personality are what helped propel him into the VP slot.

Senior leaders must have a focus, a vision, and the ability to put it into words that the average person can understand.  But more importantly, a great leader is someone who can convince you that what you are doing is morally right and provide that motivation that seems to come out of nowhere.  Most people like this but I believe you will find that Pence is flexible enough to do just that.

Here are some of Mike Pence’s leadership characteristics:

  • Scholarly and articulate
  • Disciplined and ethically strong
  • Fiercely dedicated to the USA
  • Humble
  • Politically conservative, desires limited government, lower taxes, a strong military, and observance of the laws of the U.S.
  • Hard Worker
  • Lives by his Christian faith and Family Values

“I was raised to believe in hard work, in faith, and family.” – Mike Pence, U.S. Vice President

It is always easy to find out where Mike Pence stands.  He doesn’t hide his beliefs and will always defend his core beliefs and do so politely and with class.

Did you guys hear about the laptop of Joe Biden’s son Hunter? Of course you did. The dope addict once again embarrasses the US, his dad, and the whole dope-smoking canard. Slow Joe’s response …. “Come on man!”

Click, you’re on it, Gen. Satt. Hard to argue with you list. I’d have added more but these are the most important traits, at least in my opinion, anyway.

Correct and much more to come. I can’t wait for K. Harris’ profile. 😊

Great mini-series. I do learn a lot from these. Yesterday, I went back and just happened to run across Joe Biden and Donald Trump’s profiles. You have nailed them on their characteristics.

Excellent and accurate IMO of VP Pence. I like the fact you zeroed in on his humble approach to leadership. He’s the type of person many inexperienced folks would underestimate. I like him and his philosophy of life. Thanks Gen. Satterfield for putting this article out. I also look forward to reading what you have to say on Kamala Harris.

Same here. Good comment Janna. I would like to see a VP runner Harris sometime this week.

I didn’t know this. “Pence has been a lawyer, radio and television talk show host, and served several positions in the Indiana state legislature, including as the state’s governor.”

Me either. Mike Pence however is a man that can be trusted. Yes, I know others wrote it but I think it needs to be repeated. Those who don’t trust him must be capable of lying to themselves. They know that in a pinch, that Mike Pence is trustworthy. Otherwise, how could he have convinced so many to vote for him in his pre-VP political positions? Simple … he is a good man.

This is how I also see Mike Pence. But also a good-hearted man too.

Nearly every politician makes a lot of promises, tells us where the problems are and that that will fix it, and will make our lives better. All that is BULLSH$$. We know it, they know it, and everyone just kids themselves. I dislike politicians, period. I can tolerate Mike Pence because at least he tells us what he is going to do. The others don’t. I do however love Donald Trump and I’m not shy to say it.

Lynn, I think this election is between a free America (like we have always been) or a socialist America (like BIden wants). I chose freedom.

VP Mike Pence is a man of integrity, loyal to the USA, a good Christian, and trustworthy. That is what we need as any politician in any party. You know where he is coming from and – whether you agree with him or not – he doesn’t hide what he believes.

Mike Pence is the opposite of Joe Biden (corrupt & mentally challenged) and Kamala Harris (out for herself).

Yep, and it should be shouted from the tops of rooftops. My bad. Joe Biden is a nut.

Otto, well said. Not much more to point out except that nearly every politician I ever met was not to be trusted.

Good point, Otto. He is not a typical politician. Doesn’t mean I trust him more (altho I do) but that if he says he is going to do something, he does it and you can bet on it.

The point is that he is a great leader, good family man, and can be trusted to do what is right, as opposed doing what is expediant.

Yep, you’re right. Pence is a good man. I’m happy that Gen. Satterfield decided to complete his politician oriented “profiles” on Pence and K. Harris. I do look forward to reading her in these pages. I hope Gen. S. mentions K. Harris’ smirk that she has on her ugly face. Harris is an example of someone who lets her ambition get ahead of her ethics. Classic liberal politician and a bit**. Hope everyone has a great Sunday. Enjoy these last few days before the most important election in US history.

Powerful comment and so true. Kamala Harris is horrible but she will be the new US President within a month IF Joe Biden is elected. EVERYONE knows Joe Biden cannot be president with his mental problems.

Good man. Mike Pence can be trusted. He is a good Christian who refuses to lower himself to the personal attacks that Kamala Harris and Slow Joe Biden love to run.

Yes a good MAN. Let’s not PC ourselves here in Gen. Satterfield’s’ leadership forum. This is where we can leave all that behind us and be real.
