Want to Help Women and Families?

By | December 27, 2022

[December 27, 2022]  Helping women and families is one of the pinnacles of a prosperous society and countries that implement policies encouraging this help are to be praised.  Hungary is highlighted today for its success in promoting women and families.  Their laws can best be described as pro-family.

Hungary’s Fundamental Law (i.e., its Constitution), adopted in 2011, sees “marriage and the family as the foundation of the nation’s survival,” said Szabolcs Takács, Hungary’s Ambassador to the U.S.  Protection of life, the family, and the nation is a central element of the Fundamental Law.  We can see whether the results justify the investment more than a decade later.

In Hungary, marriages are up by at least 60%, the birth rate has surged, divorce has fallen by almost a quarter, health improvements have been documented, and abortion has declined by a third.  All this was done without coercive laws banning any behavior but simply through encouraging and developing pro-family policies that give a variety of tax breaks and by political leaders voicing their support.

Several years ago, the U.S. joined the Geneva Consensus Declaration initiative that delivered much of the impetus behind these pro-family policies.  Unfortunately, the Biden administration withdrew the U.S. from this initiative in 2022.1

The lesson from Hungary’s experience is evident.  Pro-family policies are good for society, help women and families, and allow families to have more children and care for them properly and voluntarily.  A stable, caring government can do this without compulsion.

We should follow Hungary’s lead.

Excellent article. When God saw that man was lonely, He created woman from the rib of Adam. This means women are not in from nor walked behind man. They are waking side by side. So men treat them like they are your side kick .

Wonderful, positive, informative, and gracious article by Gen. Doug Satterfield and one that we all should read occasionally to help us stay focused on what the most noble goal in life is to be; a family.

The family is the basic element of a well-developed society. Without the family, and their loyalty, nothing can exist that is meaningful. Just check out how well the communists did in the 20th century destroying the family. Didn’t work out too well.

Learned a great deal from this, Gen. Satterfield, so I will add that any attempt to move away from the ideal family will only be to the disadvantage of women and families. This is why our current president Joe Biden is failing America. The price we will pay for his anti-family policies will be high.

Great blog post Gen. Satterfield. Who would disagree with this?

The family is the core of any civilization. Those that do not support the Family like the US under pres. Biden, are doomed to fail. That failure may not show up right away but it will, inevitably show up and destroy you.

Family is where we survive. All action should be directed to support the family over any other form of living condition. Encourage more children. The old idea that we are in a population bomb condition is wrong. we are in a population crash. Just look at China, South Korea, Japan, Canada, etc.

Sadly, that is true. But I think more and more people are beginning to push back on this neo-Marxism and anti-American sentiment because the results of marxism was demonstrated clearly in the 20th century.

I’m happy that Gen. Satterfield is here to bring us such good news, that a country has figured out that by adopting govt policies that are actually pro-family, that they can keep their population from crashing, improve the population’s health, and do those things that have long been considered markers for a health society. That is why I’m proud to be a reader of this leadership blog and, on occasion, a contributer to it too.

Shocking good news. I only wish the US would adopt such pro-woman, pro-family policies but we are going in the opposite direction.

Marriage up, more children, healthier population, abortion down, divorce down …. what else is there for US Pres Biden to be against? Yeah right. Biden is anti woman. Women who think otherwise are seriously brain dead.

… why the US would stand against such progress is beyond my conmprehenstion.

Because it didn’t fit his pro-deviant behavior agenda to destroy American values.

For those who have not figured out Biden and his ilk, then stand by for more evil to work its way into our culture. Low information voters and fraud are what got him “elected.” And I don’t care if Google.com censors my words. Everyone knows this is true.

Abortion is evil. Those who support it without thinking are supporting evil.

Yet, those very same young women (and it is young women who are fully supporting abortion) are those who have been sucked into the neo-Marxist ideology that has gripped the West in general and America specifically. Those young people lack a vision of the future and their own future.

It still is evil to abort children. And there is no degree difference between a one week fetus and a near term baby.

This is why it is so important to instill basic values in children immediately and not outsource those values to our education system.

Gen. Satterfield is very pro-family. Just read his latest book “55 Rules for a Good Life.” Get married and have children is one of his “rules” to have a good life.

Evil is easy to see but if you do not see it, in all its forms, then you need to reorient yourself and educate yourself and relook your values.
