[November 7, 2024] I’m no politician but I do have a good finger on the pulse of most Americans, and like many, I’ve got some common sense too. What lost Kamala Harris the presidential election this past Tuesday was her attitude of moral superiority. She simply saw herself as better than the average American citizen.
And, her campaign saw this too. That is why she started talking about being brought up in a “middle class family” and her push to connect with the average working person; a talking point that started working for her. But it was too late. She’d already built a reputation of being above the racist/sexist/homophobic society that she believed America had become, and she was running to correct America.
I’m not doubting that there were many other reasons she lost. True enough. For example, Harris made a poor choice in her running-mate Tim Walz, a “gut decision,” in her words. Walz was as arrogant as they come. He was just icing on the cake as citizens tied them together. His “aw shucks” veneer fooled no one. Then it came out he lied about his military service claiming that he “carried guns in war.” People saw him as fake, or, as a flake. The stolen valor charges did further damage.
Harris’s belief that not voting for her made you a bad person, truly got to many people and instead of motivating them, she pushed us away. This is why you don’t insult your people. Joe Biden’s comments about Trump supporters being “garbage” and her not disavowing him early, tied her closely in with that moral superiority attitude. So, if you’re voting for Trump, suddenly you’re a fascist now.
Harris alienated the heart of America and that’s an unforgivable problem, an albatross, that she tied around her own neck. She was telling us she’s better, smarter, and has many famous, wealthy “friends” (see all those Hollywood types hanging out with her). This is insulting and contradicts her attempt to connect with us. Then she lied about working at McDonald’s. These were self-inflicted errors that she repeatedly made until the very end.
Over the next few days and weeks, pundits will prattle on about this or that technical error Harris made and there will be some merit in what they say. But adopting the “woke” ideology that she embraced did not go over well with middle America. Wokeness might work on the coastal elites and on college campuses, but not with the rest of us who fear losing our livelihoods if we use the wrong pronoun.
Abortion was the main platform policy that helped her. But it helped only with getting her leftist base to turn out. Most Americans believe that it’s murder to abort a child in the womb yet Harris told us that abortion was a healthcare right, an obvious contradiction. Under Biden’s thinking and Harris’s campaign platform, abortion would be legal and free up until the moment of birth. Americans more and more reject abortion.
The fact that Kamala Harris came as close as she did to winning the presidential election – although Trump won in a blowout – is scary. The good news is that Americans are a lot smarter than Harris, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, entertainers, and her friends in the press think we are, and we proved it.
Kamala Harris failed to show any real leadership. Donald Trump showed it every day. The difference was stark.

Please read my books:
Gen. Satterfield, you get a thumb’s up today and I love it that America is better off without Kamala the “woke” chameleon. 🙏
Today I’m off from work and I’ll spend part of it reading about why Kamala list the election. Pure fun entertainment. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
“ Kamala Harris failed to show any real leadership. Donald Trump showed it every day. The difference was stark.” —- Gen. Doug Satterfield. On target, sir. Thank you.
Wesley, this is why I’m a regular reader of Gen. Satterfield’s blog. I’m a big fan. And even though I do read his blog, I’m an avid reader on the psychology of humans and have learned a great deal. I could see, early on, that VP Kamala Harris was not going to be a good leader. My first indication was she had zero accomplishments as the VP. She was tasked to be the border czar and yet never even went to the border. Everyone could see her lack of the most basic element of leadership — being there. As Gen. Satterfield has written many times, “It’s good to have a bad boss (only occasionally) because it shows us what NOT to do.” And Harris showed the world what not to do. Fortunately, the average American citizen saw her for what she really was … the Democrat Party’s DEI candidate. Her failure is good for all Americans.
Gen. Satterfield, you’re correct about the explosion of articles coming out explaining why Harris lost the election. 👍. But you nailed the reason best and put your finger on the reason, a feeling of superiority. 🤬
Here is what I have to say 🐿️🦝🦺🇺🇸👍❤️😇
Special thanks to P’NUT and Fred.
KAMALA HARRIS LOSES. 🏳️🌈
AMERICA WINS. 🇺🇸
DEI LOSES.
PATRIOTISM WINS.
The world will be a better, safer, more stable, richer place after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are gone. God protect Donald Trump.
Yes, Gen. Satterfield there are many reasons Kamala failed but her belief that she was our moral superior played a key role.
Got that right and this is what Gen. Satterfield was telling us all along.
“ Leadership Comparison: Harris vs. Trump”

The bottom line is Kamala lacked what it takes. No leadership ability. And, IMHO, she is the Devil, along with Joe Biden.
How I see VP Harris is that she has no principles. What does she stand for? Other than free abortion any time, any place, free without consequences, and HIGHLY ENCOURAGED, and letting born babies “comfortable “ as they die on the table. Harris was just the ideal DEI candidate and was soundly defeated. America dodged a communist bullet this time.
